Utilising strategic analysis methodologies and business analysis tools and techniques, you will take on discrete projects in which you will assess key areas of the business, determining the success of our performance and identifying the areas that need to improve. Evaluating solutions that will lead to enhanced performance, you will make your recommendaions to senior managers, and you will develop vital components of new Target Operating Models ranging from business processes and IT requirements, through to organisational structures and funding models. You will also be instrumental in helping us develop and improve the strategic analysis tools and methods that we are currently using, seeing to it that our analytical community remains cutting-edge.

About you

As a trusted advisor within NHSBT, you will bring plenty of tact to this role, as you will be conveying potentially contentious issues to senior-level colleagues. You will therefore have experience of using strategic analysis methodologies, and reporting your findings to Senior Management teams. Ideally underpinned by a Master’s level degree in a relevant subject or an equivalent qualification, you will also:

  • Be articulate and credible, with the capacity to inspire change where it is needed. You will be able to build relationships with stakeholders, and you will have exceptional communication skills.
  • Have experience of preparing high quality presentation materials. As such, you will have well developed skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with a good awareness of Microsoft Project.
  • Have the flexibility to travel to various geographic locations, which may require overnight stays.
