This is an excellent opportunity to help create a new team – a centre of expertise in people and workforce analytics. As Head of People Analytics the contribution of your team will be fundamental to making a ‘step change’ improvement in the workforce information we provide managers with, to support their decision making and management of workforce performance issues. You will also establish improved HR systems that support the HR Admin, Recruitment, Business Partners and HR Advisors and Employee Relations teams to deliver excellent services and support.

Experienced and comfortable with leading transformational change, the job holder will be able to take the lead in engaging with HR and managers at all levels to gain their confidence and commitment to support the HR Transformation Programme’s changes in workforce information and HR systems. As a trusted communicator and excellent influencer, the jobholder’s contribution will go beyond implementing new systems and workforce information tools to working with line managers to increase their knowledge, skills and confidence in applying best practice in people analytics.


As Head of People Analytics, you will be engaging with our users regularly through a variety of activities including, workforce performance reporting, business planning, service redesign and training managers.. You will be able to influence and shape the divisional HR strategy by providing crucial insight on latest workforce trends – inside and outside of CLCH, adding context to reports, preparing one-off research and benchmarking reports, and delivering on workforce information led continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for an engaging and innovative leader with excellent technical skills and a successful track record of delivery in workforce change and transformation. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Workforce, the successful candidate will be a member of the People Directorate Senior Management Team. As a Head of and member of the HR SMT, the successful incumbent will provide leadership, will support strategic direction through clear management of the People Analytics Team, ensuring they are supported to meet their role and team objectives while maintaining effective and supportive relationships across all areas.
