The Head of Medicines Optimisation is a key senior role, with responsibility for Medicines Management and Optimisation; including risk management, clinical governance and clinical strategic development and delivery of Pharmacy services. The post holder must have the skills to network and collaborate with a wide range of clinical colleagues and partner organisations to engage in quality improvement and develop new community pathways to benefit patient care.

Reporting to the Medical Director the successful candidate will provide expert clinical, professional and technical leadership and direction for the delivery of pharmaceutical services and supervision of our medicines supply SLA.

Interested candidates are encouraged to contact Hayley.dickinson@nchc.nhs.uk, PA to the medical director, to arrange a discussion about the role and working for the Trust.

A relocation package is available for the successful candidate if taking up the appointment necessitates a move.

Apply now to join an organisation that has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the highest possible rating and the first stand-alone NHS community trust in the country to be awarded the title.
