Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

We are looking for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the evolving and expanding Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS), which is an integral part of Community Health Services.

The Team

CINSS was established in 2016 as part of the Better Care Together Initiative and strives to provide specialist integrated care to patients in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The team continues to rapidly evolve and provides varied exciting opportunities to develop the service further, both clinically and organisationally.

The successful candidate will join a specialist multi-disciplinary team comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dieticians, a Neuropsychologist, a Rehabilitation Consultant and Generic Rehabilitation Technical Instructors.

The team provides specialist neuro-rehabilitation in Community and Outpatient settings to people with a wide range of neurological conditions and stroke.

The role

This post requires a dedicated autonomous Physiotherapist with clinical experience in Neurology and Stroke rehabilitation advantageous. Previous Community experience would also be beneficial. The successful candidate will be required to manage a complex caseload with supervision from senior colleagues in a busy, developing environment. Excellent organisational, communication and team working skills are required for this position.

The CINSS team hub is at Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre, where this post will be based, with regional bases in Loughborough Hospital; Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital; St Luke's Hospital; and Melton Hospital.

Please note a driving license and access to a car for work purposes is essential for this role.

You will work 37.5hrs per week (the service will also consider applications for part-time working hours). If you are shortlisted you will be invited to undertake an interview on Thursday 22nd April 2021.
