Non-Medical Prescriber, Monday - Friday at Present

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, Family Young Person and Children's, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are looking to recruit to a Permanent Band 7 full time Non-Medical Prescriber post within the CAMHS Outpatient Service.

We require an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Non-Medical Prescriber, with relevant post registration experience, to work as part of the established CAMHS Outpatient team.

For this position you will need to demonstrate flexibility and commitment to high standards of patient care providing assessment and treatment, clinical advice and management for children and young people with significant mental health difficulties.

  • The environment in which care is delivered

You will work effectively as a Non-Medical Prescriber within the CAMHS multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality, safe and effective care to Children and Adolescents in a community setting, to promote and ensure recovery focused care within set pathways and in accordance with NICE guidelines, taking full professional and legal responsibility for all prescribing carried out.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work alone and as part of a team. You may be required to work flexibly possibly including evenings in the future.

Experience of working with children, young people and families is desirable but not essential as you will be provided with a comprehensive induction and training opportunities.
