We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic therapy assistant to join our Speech and Language Therapy team.

You will be working across our specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation centre as well as supporting patients at home in the community.

The post-holder will need to be organised, enthusiastic, a good communicator and ideally have previous experience in a rehabilitation or care delivery setting. You will be assisting in the rehabilitation of patients with a wide range of neurological needs (including physical, communication and cognitive) which may include both individual sessions and group work. You will be working closely with the Speech and Language Therapists and a wider MDT including the medical team, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Nurses. You will need to be able to keep accurate clinical records and have good clerical/ administrative skills.

This is a fixed-term, part time post which is likely to last between 7-9 months after the successful candidate has been appointed.

A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
