We have an exciting opportunity for people to join supportive, forward thinking teams. The successful applicant will provide a clinical resource for development, review and delivery of existing and new training programmes. There is opportunity to work alongside leading clinical experts to shape and tailor innovative new services

The successful applicant will have substantial clinical knowledge of diabetes and long term conditions and ideally experience in teaching and education.

EDEN (Effective Diabetes Education Now) has grown rapidly and is commissioned locally, nationally and internationally by organisations wishing to transform diabetes care for their patients. It is part of the Leicester Diabetes Centre, which is part of the University of Leicester and University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust.

The Leicester Diabetes Centre has three overarching aims; Education, Innovation and Research. The centre undertakes a wide range of commercial and non-commercial research projects, including drug trials, lifestyle studies and large randomised controlled trials for the prevention and screening of diabetes.

We are one of the largest diabetes groups in the country and hold several prestigious awards. We have been awarded accreditation as an education institute from the International Diabetes Federation. The education team is committed to enhancing skills of HCP staff caring for patients with diabetes, and reducing variations in care.
