Job Title: Practice Nurse

Salary: Up to (£30 per hour) depending on experience.

Contract Type: Locum

Start: ASAP

Hours: Part time and full time 3-5 days a week

Location: Multiple locations in Newham/East London

As a Practice Nurse you will be responsible for the delivery of general practice nursing to the whole practice population. The focus of the role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presenting with long term condition and the provision of preventative healthcare to the practice population.

You will work within the general practice team to meet the needs of patients and support the delivery of the services. You will be expected to demonstrate clinical and communication skills to a high standard and a commitment to improving nursing practice through on-going personal and professional development.


The new appointee will receive significant support from the Regional GP Director and the clinical team to develop in their role.

Previous GP practice nurse experience is desirable, with excellent interpersonal skills and good IT skills. Experience of EMIS system is desirable. The candidate will need to have a flexible working approach and have the ability to work with a wide range of professionals, people and patients.
