Business Assistant/Support Secretary – band 3

Mental Health Liaison Service

We are looking for 2 Business Assistants/Support Secretaries to cover 9-5 Monday - Sunday

The Mental Health Liaison Service provides assessment to patients referred from UHL inpatient wards and the Emergency Department. We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals to provide comprehensive administrative support to a dynamic, multi-clinical team.

As a support secretary you are a vital part of very busy and demanding team. You will need to be highly organised with excellent communication skills with the ability to multi-skill and work on your own initiative, and as part of a team, in order to meet the demands of the service. We are looking for bright, motivated and flexible staff with effective communication and interpersonal skills and a positive and pleasant manner, preferably with audio typing skills. Good keyboard skills and clerical experience are essential in order to provide admin support to the Mental Health Liaison Service team. There are a variety of administrative functions within the team with weekend work necessary to ensure the clinical staff are fully supported.
