We are passionate about crisis management and prevention and work closely with individuals and their families to enable these experiences to be positively managed. We work closely with a person’s existing care teams to provide holistic care and support for a range of mental health needs.

We are seeking clinicians with experience of working closely with service users, carers, families, third sector services and other statutory care providers and with experience of assessing and managing risks relating to Older Adults mental health needs. You will be able to demonstrate post registration experience of working directly with older adults, encouraging service users to make decisions about their care and in applying the principles of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.

Your role will be to provide crisis assessments, develop and deliver therapeutic home treatment interventions with service users and work collaboratively to identify ongoing care needs. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the police and NWAS to avoid using MHA 136 and considering the least restrictive options of care to our service users. We are working towards the Home Treatment Accreditation scheme to improve the quality of our service and you will be encouraged to contribute to service development opportunities.

We would like to recruit practitioners who are flexible, responsive, motivated, well organised and adaptable and have a keen interest in providing an equitable service regardless of a person’s age. You will work in a highly supportive environment with a strong clinical leadership presence, an established management and clinical supervision structure and with access to training opportunities relevant to your role and speciality.
