CBT Therapist

Job Reference: 354-PC-20094-C

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
Mental Health
Marlborough House, St Leonards on Sea
£38,890 - £44,503 per annum

We are a large NHS Mental Health Trust in South East England and are looking for people to help us provide high quality services for the patients, carers and local communities that we serve.

We want patients and staff to recommend our organisation as a place where they would be happy for their friends and family to be treated. You can help us to do this by bringing your skills, experience and commitment to Sussex Partnership.

Sussex Partnership is an equal opportunities employer, with a sincere commitment to our people’s health and emotional wellbeing and as such, we have signed the Time to Change pledge and provide a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme.

In addition, our workforce is currently under-represented by people from Black and Minority Ethnic and Disabled communities. We welcome applications from people of these communities as we want our workforce to reflect the communities we serve.

The Trust is committed to providing opportunities for flexible working.

Speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement whether that’s job share, part time or another flexible pattern.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated our services good, following their most recent inspection, and outstanding in the caring domain.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Health in Mind as a valued member of our team. Health in Mind is an IAPT (Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies) service which is part of a National programme throughout England providing evidenced based treatments for people with depression and/or a range of anxiety based difficulties within primary care.

We are seeking to recruit band 7, CBT therapists or soon to qualify therapists. We will accept applications from those who meet the essential criteria as per the job description and are accredited or accreditable with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP). We will also accept applications from trainee CBT therapists on a post graduate Diploma and BABCP accreditable course that are due to qualify by the end of March 2021. Please note if invited to interview, we will ask you to provide evidence that you are on track to successfully complete the course via a University transcript.

These are ideally full time permanent posts with an expectation some therapy will be delivered in the evening. We will consider applications from those that wish to work part time (minimum of 22.5 or more hours per week).

Successful candidates will be based in the Hastings and Rural Rother Area. The ability to travel across the locality and across Health in Mind sites in East Sussex is required.
