British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is the UK’s largest independent women’s reproductive healthcare charity. We work mainly on behalf of the NHS across the country providing abortion, contraception, STI testing & Treatment and soon, we are launching BPAS Fertility, evidence-based, not-for-profit care.
Are you a Registered Nurse or Midwife (practicing) with experience of working within a Healthcare environment?
At bpas, we’re looking for a Nurse (or Midwife) to come and join our passionate and dedicated team. As a Nurse (or Midwife) you’ll provide abortion and sexual health information and treatment to clients in a supportive manner, in accordance with NMC guidelines for Professional Practice, Abortion Act 1967, Health and Social Care Act and bpas’ policies and procedures.

You will be a Registered Nurse or Midwife (practicing) with experience of general nursing, completing client documentation, working towards guidelines, policies and procedures and have experience of nurse admissions and discharges.

Salary: £24,793 to £29,943 per annum pro rata (please note that this is a BPAS Salary Band and the exact Agenda For Change Band values are not applicable. Please see ‘additional information’ for more details.)
Shift Pattern: 19.5 hours per week | Monday 9am-3pm, Tuesday 8.30am-4.30pm and Thursday 9am-3pm
