Digital Director

Job Reference: 264-2972362-COR

Employer:
Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Department:
Corporate
Location:
Kettering General Hospital, Kettering
Salary:
£91,004 - £104,927 per annum

In just a few years’ time, Kettering General Hospital and Northampton General Hospital will have an amazing story to tell… how they turned competition into collaboration, variation into seamless alignment, and CQC ratings of ‘Requires Improvement’ into ‘Outstanding’.

We are looking to recruit two dynamic Digital Directors who can join our group model and who can implement our digital vision across both Kettering and Northampton.

The key responsibility of the Digital Director is to provide vision and technical leadership in the delivery of the digital and technology aims of each Trusts, aligned to the Group Digital Strategy to enable wider improvements across the group in quality, efficiency and business effectiveness. We will be valuing collaboration behaviours over individual technical brilliance, as teams at each site work to:

  • Do the basics brilliantly
  • Do things once for both
  • Do the hard work to make things simple
  • Be the best you can be

We need kind, compassionate and inclusive leaders who will make great things happen in each Trust and bring people together and with them on our ambitious group journey. We are looking for leaders who will support our organisations in “applying the culture, processes, business models & technologies of the internet era to respond to people’s raised expectations” [Tom Loosemore’s Definition of Digital]. We will be looking for someone who has demonstrated their alignment to this way of delivering change in a large complex organisations (in or outside the NHS).

We truly aspire to be the most digital hospital group in the UK by 2023. Does this sound like a challenge you wish to accept?

We would like to invite applicants from unrepresented groups to apply or call us to discuss the role further.
