An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Specialist Infection Prevention Control Nurse to join our multi-agency / multi-professional team delivering high quality care to the residents in our Doncaster Care Homes.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across a diverse geographical locality in an environment that provides both challenge and opportunity.

Therefore we are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic leader with a proven track record in the clinical speciality of Infection Prevention and Control.

You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and practice development through training, coaching, supervision, support and advice on complex case management and outbreaks.

You must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach that meets the needs of the residents and staff and the demands of the local and national public health agenda

The successful applicant will be based within RDaSH at Chestnut View Tickhill Road, Balby, Doncaster, but will be expected to travel to numerous locations across the locality of Doncaster, therefore the post holder should have access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area.

The main hours of working will be between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however there may be occasions when the post holder will be required to adjust their working hours so that they can support the Public Health Team in the management of outbreaks or Public Health events
