New and exciting opportunities have arisen within the Bridge Adult and Paediatric Centre of Excellence Sexual Assault Referral Centre for a team of Early Trauma Intervention Specialist Crisis Workers to join our existing staff team. We are hoping to recruit experienced counsellors to join us on a fixed term contract until October 2022 providing short term, early trauma interventions to adults who have experienced sexual violence, improving their long-term outcomes and preventing escalation of trauma symptoms. Interventions will also be offered to non-abusing parents and carers of children who have experienced sexual abuse. During the COVID 19 pandemic interventions will be provided via a secure, remote platform. This will be reviewed post pandemic and if appropriate, revisions will be made to include face to face sessions across the Bridge geographical area. We anticipate the successful candidates will work 22.5 hours per week over three days.
