We have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS outreach service at a senior level. The role is for a Senior Clinical Practitioner - the only clinical band 7 within the team, operating alongside the team manager providing outstanding clinical leadership to a small intensive multidisciplinary service and deputising for the team manager in their absence.

The post holder will be flexible to work hours primarily Monday - Friday but it’s possible that early starts/later finishes and some weekend working will be necessary to support young people on their case load intensively.

The service is currently located in LS2 - but is due to move in March/April. It’s hoped that the base will be Headingley/Woodhouse but this isn't yet confirmed.

There is an expectation that the post holder will work in a combination of ways including face to face and remotely.

The post holder will be a registered professional - nurse, OT, social worker etc. and have current registration.

Significant mental health experience combined with excellent risk management skills, extensive clinical supervision experience and an ability to deliver a range of therapeutic interventions designed to keep young people with complex and enduring mental health difficulties out of CAMHS inpatient beds are all essential, as is experience of working with families.
