Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT) is the largest community healthcare provider in Sussex.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band 6 Specialist Podiatrist to join our Brighton and Hove Podiatry team.
Our team is hardworking, supportive and experienced, with a good skill mix and a high staff retention rate. We offer a podiatry service from multiple settings and also visit patients in their own homes.
This role is for an autonomous practitioner who is a highly motivated, flexible, caring, patient-focused team player. The post holder will need to be clinically experienced, competent to ensure team resilience, and able to provide high quality podiatric care for patients with varying foot pathologies/risks. They will be required to work with a diverse patient population and manage their own caseload, so the post is best suited to someone who is an excellent communicator and has a proven track record of achieving excellence in clinical care through good clinical and diagnostic skills.
The successful candidate will provide treatment and management of patients with complex foot health needs and lower limbs which are at risk, and will be involved in service development and delivery directives including clinical governance and risk management.
You should be well organised and have excellent self and people management skills, sound clinical experience, and a real commitment to delivering a first class service to our increasingly high-risk caseload. You will need business insurance and use of a car for domiciliary visits.
We aim to support the development of our staff through regular team meetings and are committed to continuing professional development. Staff are supported with yearly personal development reviews and dedicated clinical supervision time.
