An exciting opportunity has come up for a Band 5 Registered nurse who has proven experience of completing Looked after Children’s review assessment (LAC) and general Safeguarding responsibilities. The role will include generic School Nursing however the focus will be to support the 3 boroughs in completing LAC reviews and attendance to Safeguarding meetings.

These are exciting times for our 0-19 Service as we are looking at innovative ways to deliver a service and we want you to be part of it. If you are a Registered Nurse (NMC) and looking to join a thriving, innovative service which puts children, young people and their families at the centre of all that they do, then this is definitely the job for you so look no further.

We have changed the way we deliver services welcoming innovation to meet the needs of children and families. We introduced video appointments to offer an alternative method to meet with our families and young people as well as delivering virtual webinars and workshops. All of which have been rolled out across Surrey to make our services accessible by all as part of our countywide digital offer.

We are looking for someone with an inspirational and motivational personality and someone who is highly skilled in communication, with a strong approach to teamwork. The individual will be someone who is able to deliver appropriately delegated commissioned elements of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) (DH 2009) as a member of the 0-19 public health nursing service.
