Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service – Eating Disorder Service

Clinical Practitioner – Band 6 Full time

As part of an exciting expansion of our award winning specialist CAMHS Eating Disorder team, we are looking to recruit a substantive full time band 6 Clinical Nurse. The team currently consists of psychiatry, psychology, psychotherapy, family therapy, dietetic and nursing staff who work closely with outpatient, inpatient and adult services.

We offer early specialist assessment and intervention using evidence based approaches to young people up to the age of 18 and their family/carers. The team are based at Mawson House, Leicester.

The individual recruited to this post will take an active role within our cohesive MDT to provide specialist assessment and treatment for young people with clinical eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.

The service is research active and has engaged in some exciting local, national and international research opportunities. You will play a significant role in helping us achieve the team vision of delivering high quality, innovative and effective treatments for young people diagnosed with eating disorders.
