Advert for Band 6 SCPHN School Nurse - permanent (Full time, Part time and term time only considered)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, motivated, inspirational and innovative School Nurses to join our experienced School Health team within Children and Family Health Surrey. The post will be in the Spelthorne or Elmbridge Borough of Surrey based at Ashford Clinic or Molesey Clinic.

You will be a highly skilled clinical practitioner, with leadership and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will also have a strong approach to teamwork whilst also demonstrating the ability to work on your own initiative. You will have a good understanding of children, young people and their families and the ability to deliver the Healthy Child Programme to a diverse population across specific geographical areas of Surrey.

We are committed to professional development, have an invigorating training plan and an active School Nurse forum.We have an excellent preceptorship model to support newly qualified School Nurses.

You will also be supported by our clinical specialists, clinical team leaders, service managers and our safeguarding team to provide excellent professional practice and to further develop your skills and knowledge.
