York Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the existing multi-disciplinary based at York Hospital.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the high standard of care provided for our patients as well as supporting student and peer education. There will also be an expectation that you will contribute to service improvement and help manage efficiencies.

You must be a hardworking, highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist with the ability to work with a high degree of professional autonomy. We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking practitioner with the desire to develop and improve services. You must have relevant clinical experience, excellent communication and organisational skills.

DBS Checks - All new employees starting work with us will be charged for the cost of their DBS check if it is required for the role. The cost will be deducted from your salary either in 1 payment or over a six month period once you start employment. The charges are currently £27.20 for a standard check and £44.20 for an enhanced check. The level of check will be determined by the post you are applying for. Please note that Volunteers and Bank only staff will not be charged.
