Estates Operations and Maintenance Manager

Northern Devon Healthcare Trust
£38,890 - £44,503 per annum pro rata

The post holder will provide the leadership of the maintenance service in the Trust and through SLA’s to the Devon Partnership Trust comprising of the North Devon District Hospital, Community Hospitals and Medical Centres.

To ensure all legislation, guidance notes and HTM’s relevant to the Facilities Directorate are understood, implemented and monitored.

To give assurance to the Deputy Head of Estates of appropriate management of the existing estate in line with best practice guidance, HTM’s HBNs and other mandatory and statutory documentation.

To work with the Deputy Head of Estates to ensure that efficient management policies and communication plan is in place. To work with the Deputy Head of Estates to ensure that budgetary management is effective together with CIP investment and divestment planning on an annual basis.

To ensure that the FM First labour management system is operational and produces timely and accurate assurance performance data utilising the appropriate administration staff.

The post holder will be based in the Facilities Block NDDH.

The post holder will fulfil all tasks and work as part of a team. To meet the needs of the service, the post holder may be required to work in other areas as appropriate as directed by the line manager.

The hours of the post are 37.5 per week, the post holder will be expected to participate in the Estates Management on call team.
