Immunisation School Health Nurse
Solent NHS Trust delivers the School Aged Immunisation Programme across 3 localities Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering a full programme across the school year. This will incorporate HPV vaccinations to Year 8 pupils, Men ACWY and TD/IPV to year 9 pupils and the Flu programme from year R to Year 7.
We are looking for 2 Band 5 Registered Nurses:
24 hours Term Time only in Portsmouth City
24 hours all year round on the Isle of Wight.
The successful candidate will be expected to work across localities during delivery of the immunisation programme.
All applicants must hold a Registered Children’s Nurse or a Registered Nurse qualification and able to demonstrate relevant experience with children and young people. We are looking for 2 nurses who are enthusiastic and highly motivated to ne part of our team. You must be organised and able to work well independently, and with others within the team. Excellent communication skills are essential to support the collaborative working with Education staff and other health care professionals.
Full training will be given. Car driver and owner are essential.
