We are on the lookout for a content creator to join our vibrant and dynamic Communication Team on a 12 month Fixed Term to take on the role of Interim Content Officer.

Our Interim Content Officer will play a crucial role in bringing Solent NHS Trust to life, talking to our communities in an exciting, relevant and consistent way. They are responsible for ensuring all content is on-brand, tells The Solent Story and is consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice. They will ensure content is optimised for search and user experience across all channels.

As a key member of the team, you will have a natural ability to identify great stories for use interally and externally and will be skilled in creating content for multimedia channels as well as creating packages.

In this role, you can expect to;

  • Ensure all stories and content is people centric, linked to the Solent Vision and drives engagement, supporting the Trust’s strategy and Communications Strategy.
  • Support the implementation of the communications calendar by contributing effective and creative content, both written and visual, across the Trust’s communications channels.
  • Workwith the Digital Communications Lead to develop and implement a content calendar for social media channels. This involves developing engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlightens audiences and promotes our messages.
