Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Business Assistant to join the Directorate of Mental Health Business and Transformation Team.

The role will provide business assistance to the Directorate of Mental Health. The Business and Transformation Team are responsible for contract management, performance analysis and reporting, business planning, service developments/redesign/modelling and estates.

This role requires the post holder to extract data and information from a variety of information systems as required for the team. The post holder will work closely with colleagues within the Business and Transformation Team and clinical colleagues to ensure performance and contracting information is made available to services as required and monitored on a regular basis. The post holder will deal with confidential patient information and provide support within the remit of their role, escalating any problems or concerns where appropriate.

This post holder will be required to provide administration support to the Directorate of Mental Health Business and Transformation Team including organising and servicing meetings and diary management for the team.

The role will be based at Bridge Park Plaza, Thurmaston, but there will be a requirement to travel to different locations in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. However, in response to COVID the role is currently homebased.
