We are looking for a passionate and engaged individual to join the ICAN Team in the role of Administration Services Team Leader in the CBU Admin Service.

About the Service:

The Administration Service will deliver a Patient Administration and Business Support function for LCH in the most efficient way possible. We are committed to supporting administrative staff through development and career progression utilising the organisations opportunities and embracing its vision, values and behaviours.

Integrated Children's Additional Needs (ICAN) service provides child and family centred, outcome oriented, coordinated and evidence-based services to children with additional needs and their families.

Assessment, intervention and support for children with additional needs are delivered by three multi-disciplinary teams (occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, specialist health visitors, doctors and administrators) situated in the West, South and East of the city, and the Community Children's Nursing team which operates as a city-wide service.

City-wide professional and clinical pathways leadership is provided by clinical and professional leads, and supported by hub team leads. Administrative support is provided by the central administrative team for city-wide management of records, referrals and appointments and hub administrative teams to support the daily work of the hub.

About the role:

As the Administration Service Team Leader you will be responsible for the line management of admin staff within the Central ICAN SPA at Stockdale House and the ICAN hub teams citywide.

Duties will be shared with the existing Administration Service Team Leader (0.5 WTE) who you will work closely with and have shared/assigned areas of responsibility.

Your primary focus will be the ICAN team however you may occasionally be asked to participate in work streams across the business unit, contributing to and supporting processes in ICAN and the Children's Business Unit.

This post will report into the Administration Services Support Manager for the Children's Business Unit.

Whilst this post will be based at Stockdale House there may be a requirement to travel to different locations on occasion. There will the opportunity to work from home as required. Hours will be 18.75 per week between Wednesday and Friday. Existing post holder works 18.75 hours Monday to Wednesday. Expected start date for this role is April 2021.

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong leadership skills. You will have a passion for admin, people management and delivering great patient care.

You will be a team player and will actively contribute to continuous service improvement activities, including the maintenance and improvement of quality to ensure that the service is delivered with patient focus.

You will have previous management experience, excellent communication skills and knowledge of HR process and procedure.
