The Defence Primary Healthcare (Dental) are looking for a professional, organised and dedicated Band 3 Civilian Dental Nurse to join their friendly, hardworking team at Combermere Barracks, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 3DN.

Our successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Nurse who will work within the Ministry of Defence to provide clinical and administrative support for the provision of dental care.
This position is advertised for 37.5 hours per week. Requests to work flexibly will be considered, taking into account business needs.
Candidates who hold the qualifications but are not yet registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) are eligible to apply for this vacancy. However, if found successful it is a requirement that you are registered with the GDC prior to starting in the post.
Due to COVID 19, there is now a requirement for dental clinical staff to be fit tested for a FFP3 mask, which has to be worn when managing a patient who is undergoing an aerosol generating procedure (AGP) he successful candidate will be fit tested prior to commencing employment.
As part of the Business Resilience Plan on occasion there could be a request to work at a Dental Centre within the Regional Hub; such as Northolt, Northwood or Pirbright.

There is no requirement to deploy as this is met by our uniformed personnel, but you will form the continuity of care required by our patients when based at home.

While the job will be primarily located at Dental Centre Windsor, applicants must be prepared to travel to and work from other dental centres within the local Region when requested by Practice Manager/Regional Headquarters.
