In your role as Senior Nurse at Swaffham Community Hospital you will have the opportunity to work with a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team and contribute to each patient’s rehabilitation journey, helping them to achieve their personlised goals and to reach their maximum potential. The Unit also provides palliative care and so you will gain experience in this area.

Swaffham Community Hospital is an 18 bedded Rehabilitation Unit in West Norfolk. West Norfolk is an area of contrast and beauty, situated close to Norwich and the borders of Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. Norfolk is the fifth largest county in England and offers a perfect mix of countryside and city living. You’ll find history and heritage, beautiful villages and 90 miles of stunning coastline.

You will have an opportunity to build on your clinical and rehabilitation skills, as well as enhancing your managerial skills. You will assist the Ward Manager in the running of the Unit, including staffing rosters, incident management, as well as supporting junior staff members. The Trust is passionate about learning and development and also offers a range of support and benefits with regards to the health and wellbeing of it's staff.
