Permanent School Nurse position based in Grimsby and Cleethorpes

We are looking for a Qualified School Nurse who has completed the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) course to join our well established School Nursing Service in North East Lincolnshire Council. You will work from a variety of settings including schools, partner agencies and homes working flexibly and creatively to best engage and meet the diverse health needs of the 5-19 population.

We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic and motivational personality and someone who is highly skilled in communication, with a strong approach to teamwork. You will facilitate and deliver a range of assessments, brief interventions, proactive public health initiatives and work both independently and as part of a multi-agency team around the family.

You will be expected to demonstrate clinical expertise and governance in all aspects of safeguarding children whilst being supported by robust organisational supervision, guidelines and policies.

We offer restorative clinical supervision, a supportive induction package and comprehensive preceptorship framework for newly qualified School Nurse’s.
