We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Hotel Service Assistants to fill a number of fixed term roles to support within the Facilities Management Team at Colchester Hospital.

In addition to general cleaning of public areas and dealing with ad hoc tasks, e.g. clearing spills, the post holders may be required to carry out specialist cleaning duties, some of which are physically demanding. We are looking for conscientious individuals, who are able to use their initiative and manage their own workload.

We have a range of shift times available and these may include evenings, weekend & bank holiday working. The fixed term roles will be offered for an initial period of 3 months.

Mon – Fri, 1600 – 2000 – 20 hours per weekMon – Fri, 1800 – 0230 – 30 hrs per weekMon – Fri, 1330 – 2200 – 37.5 hrs per week Mon – Fri, 0700 – 1530 – 37.5 hrs per weekSat & Sun, 2200 – 0630 – 15 hrs per week

 

Basic numeracy and literacy skills will be required and having experience of working within a similar environment would be an advantage, but not necessarily essential, as full training will be given.
