The Solent NHS Trust are looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Development Manager to join the team! We are a very forward thinking team constantly seeking innovative tools and techniques to support the safe delivery of care to our patients. We are looking for an individual who has a background in Microsoft Power BI with a passion to lead and develop their team. These are challenging times for the NHS at the moment, so the succesful candidate would need to be a very quick learner, have a willingness to compromise but still ensure delivery of a quality product. Although not essential, any experience with using Microsoft Azure would help the wider team on our journey.

The successful candidate can expect to undertake tasks such as;

  • To understand strategic objectives of service areas and translate these into meaningful and effective reporting through self-service processes and engagement.
  • Ensure effective business intelligence solutions are in place to support both internal and external stakeholders, managing the implementation and on-going developments of Business Intelligence.
  • To lead on the development of innovative techniques and tools to enable the use of information as intelligence, for example productivity, capacity & demand, ensuring adequate validation and testing.
  • Lead on the use of advance analytical skills and techniques to extract intelligence from numerous data sources.
