A vacancy has arisen for a Cook. The main duties of this post will be to assist the Catering Manager in providing a high quality catering service to the patients and Supervision all Catering Staff
The successful candidate should be qualified to either City & Guilds 706/1 – 706/2 or NVQ equivalent in Food Preparation and Cooking. Experience in large scale catering would be an advantage.
The ability to work to a high standard is essential. Enthusiasm and flexibility is required and a good knowledge of food hygiene is also essential.

Depending on the classification of the post, in-line with DBS guidelines, a Standard or Enhanced disclosure will be required which may include a check of the ‘Vulnerable Adults List’, the ‘Children’s List’ and/or the Independent Safeguarding Authorities (ISA’s) barred lists.
A charge of £60 (Enhanced) will be made by the successful candidate which will be deducted from the first 3 months’ salary. In addition to this, you will also be required to re-pay any future costs that may arise in relation to DBS fees.
