The Health Records Department based at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage is looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to work in the Health Records Department. This post will be based in the Lister Hospital but you maybe asked to rotate to other teams and sites to gain a wealth of knowledge in Health Records.

Working as part of a team, you will be expected to carry out various clerking duties, including filing, pulling notes, prepping notes and providing notes for all types of requests and merging of temporary sets into main hospital notes.

You will need to communicate with QE2/HCH and the GWP hub sites along with hospital staff as well as on occasion carring out duties across site, to ensure that notes are suitably prepared in line with department processes and made available for inpatient and outpatient activities across all sites. Tracking of notes is by use of our IFIT records tracking system as well as by other applications such as Microsoft Excel and Lorenzo, therefore computer skills are necessary.

The successful candidates will be expected to take part in a weekend rota system as and when required.
