Hours: 35per week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

10pm - 6am NIGHT SHIFT

The Role

We have a temporary placement opportunity available for a Domestic at Fairfield Hospital.

The Domestic will be providing the following support to the team

 

  • To assist in general cleaning of the hospital wards and other clinical areas.
  • To ensure infection control policies are adhered to which ensures we maintain            the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Responsible for the safe use of cleaning equipment
  • Terminal cleaning - when patient has been discharged / moved beds
  • Required to do deep cleans because of infections.

 

 

 

The skills required are

• Some knowledge of COSHH, able to follow standardised cleaning schedules.

• Reliable, punctual and flexible

• Able to work in high pressure environment

• To be able to communicate effectively with colleagues

•  Able to work part of a team

• To be able to read and understand simple data

• A good understanding of the Trust Values and behaviours and ability to demonstrate these values in the working day

 

Fairfield Hospital is located on Rochdale Old Road in Bury and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport.  There is onsite parking (fees will apply).  It has an onsite restaurant where staff are eligible for a discount.  The hospital also has a Royal Voluntary Service shop.
