Job Reference: 151-KG5535-CC

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust
£20,771 - £22,199 pa inclusive o

Wexham Park is a 650 bed hospital on the outskirts of Slough. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our retail team. We are looking for a supervisor to join the team, working along side our established supervisor and managing approximately 15 people in our retail areas.

The successful candidate will be able to work at pace and under pressure. Our popular restaurant is open 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to our NHS staff and some visitors. It is extremely busy. We place a lot of focus on our team working together and in particular on food hygiene and safety. Candidates must have Level 3 Food Safety qualifications and to be able to face the future of the operation with confidence. This is a 7 day per week operation and supervisors will be expected to work a minimum of 2 weekends out of 4.

Our standards are high as part of our commitment to excellence and we would look to candidates to be able to demonstrate how they maintain and drive standards in retail. We look for year on year improvement in sales.

Candidates must have experience in managing people - motivating them to do their best, to become engaged with the role and to commit to the operation. There can be conflict and pressure and candidates would be expected to be able to demonstrate how they would manage these situations

You will be expected to be able to communicate and support through the department and beyond - whether with NHS colleagues in the hospital or external contacts such as contractors are on site.

We have a constant cycle of training and refresher training and you will maintain this with the retail team. Management of holidays, sickness and an electronic rota system are also part of the role
