A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Band 7 development post Clinical Psychologist in the Specialist Neurorehabilitation Service.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at the Colman Hospital.

You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing inpatient, day patient and community service to patients with acquired brain injuries referred to the Specialist Neurorehabilitation Service. This will involve direct clinical work, demanding particular skills in communication where barriers often exist and in providing creative psychological interventions in a highly specialised area. You will carry out formal neuropsychological assessments and provide formal reports, as well as providing feedback to other professionals working with that patient. You will be expected to provide clinical input to patients who demonstrate challenging behaviour and to train and supervise other staff in the management of challenging behaviour. You will be managed by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist and the Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist, who will provide appropriate supervision. This is a substantive post.
