Sue Ryder, Stagenhoe Park, Hitchin have an amazing opportunity for a Registered Nurse / Staff Nurse to join our well established and dedicated team of Healthcare Professionals.

Stagenhoe is a Sue Ryder specialist neurological care centre based in Hertfordshire, caring for people aged 18 and over a range of neurological conditions. At Stagenhoe, we provide the care people need to optimise their health and wellbeing, maximise their independence and support their emotional and social needs.

We offer a huge range of support, from long-term residential care in our 45-bed centre to short-stay respite care. Short stays can be for a few days or a few weeks, depending on the needs of the individual.

Working hours:
7 shifts per fortnight as rostered (Week 1 : 3 shifts - Week 2 : 4 shifts)
Shift times 20.45-07.45
75 hours per fortnight

Salary: £26,144 - £31,736 per annum + 30% enhancements for nights

**NHS Holiday accrual honoured**
*£1,000 one off payment on completion of probation period*

Enhancements:
8.00 pm to 6.00 am (nights) 30%
Friday midnight to Sunday midnight (weekends 45%
Public Holidays 24 hours midnight to midnight 60%

You will be:
•Registered Nurse, preferably with experience in neurological or specialist palliative care
•Relevant post-registration training or willing and able to gain within 1 year
•An ability to demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development
•Awareness of current legislation within independent care sector
•Completion of NMC recognised accredited mentor training and able to mentor students and less experienced staff
