The HR Services team is a key function of the Trust, providing services, information and signposting to the entire Trust operation which covers a workforce of 5,000 across seven counties in the South West of England. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, hardworking and fast-paced team looking after the recruitment, payroll and employee relation functions of the Trust.

Your primary focus will be looking after all aspects of the payroll process, maintaining a smooth and accurate processing of pay-related changes for SWAST staff. You will supervise a small team responsible for Trustwide inputting of changes, including new starters, processing maternity, paternity and parental leave, retirements, absence related pay payments and leavers. Your role will be to oversee this team, as well as to provide advice and guidance to Trust managers and employees on pay related queries.

You will mainly work within payroll however you will also have insight into the recruitment function of HR Services which will involve minute taking for hearings, and supporting the recruitment processes.

Applicants should have a good standard of education, and a good level of clerical or administration experience. You will need to have a high level of data input skills, and excellent customer service.
