Head of Portfolio 1 (Operational) - Specialist Business Unit
Portfolio of services: Police Custody (North, Hull & Humber, South & West Yorkshire), Liaison and Diversion (Hull & Humber), Wetherby Young Offenders Institution & Adel Beck Secure Children's Home, Sexual Health & Community Gynaecology, Respiratory, Cardiac, CIVAS, TB, HHIT.

The post holder will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of services (contract compliance, performance and financial management and workforce) within the portfolio whilst working closely with the Head of Portfolio (Clinical) who will be responsible for the clinical qu ality and safety of care being delivered. Key stakeholders include; patients, other clinical, medical, professional and operational leads, LCH Corporate Teams, Health & Justice providers, Primary/ Secondary Care, LCC, Third Sector and commissioners. The post holder will provide leadership and direction which promotes health inclusion and service improvement.

We are looking for an operational manager with a proven track record of highly effective operational leadership and delivery of high quality services. Applicants must be able to work under pressure and demonstrate experience of working with Commissioners and different styles of contract. Applicants will need to demonstrate their ability to deliver to contract specification, performance management and recovery and service improvement and development. Experience of managing recruitment and retention and workforce challenges is essential. Knowledge and experience of tendering for new business and retention of existing business is desirable.

Although this post is advertised as permanent and full time other hours job share and secondment will be considered.
