The Director of Quality and Assurance at Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) is seeking an individual with expertise in clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety to join the team as Deputy Director of Quality and Assurance.

Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust is soon to be the largest integrated healthcare organisations in England, providing acute, community and tertiary services to our local diverse communities and patients across the South of England and beyond. Our St Thomas’ campus is also home to the Evelina London children’s hospital.

We are merging with the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust (RBH). RBH will become one of 5 Clinical Groups as the organisation changes to a group operating model and further devolves accountability for clinical governance.

GSTT is currently seeking a proactive, dynamic, and values-driven Deputy Director of Quality and Assurance.

In this key senior role, we expect you to have significant experience and a proven track record of leading within a complex organisation and ensuring effective clinical governance, patient safety and continuous improvement.

You must be an exceptional communicator able to work inclusively and collaboratively to cultivate strong working relationships internally and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

You will be a key member of the Medical Directorate Senior Management Team and work in a team with the Medical Director, their deputy, and clinical directors. You will nurture close working relationships with the Chief Nurse’s and Chief Operating Officer’s senior team members to effect positive changes across the organisation for the benefit of patients.
