Following a recent restructure to develop the capability of the Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust estates team, we now require a proactive, engaging Senior Estates Manager with extensive experience of the built environment, to be part of the Scunthorpe Estates Team.

As the Senior Estates Manager you will be responsible for the operational management of building and engineering services for the organisation and for management of the organisation’s estate, including staff management.

The post holder will have overall responsibility for ensuring that engineering maintenance, including contract work, is carried out to appropriate standards, specifications and all relevant legislation.

As a key member of the team, you will also be able to provide expert specialist and professional building and engineering expertise to other estates staff, directors, senior management of the organisation and may advise external agencies.

The role will also require the post holder to undertake Authorised Person responsibilities in relation to specified systems, facilities, within their remit of expertise.

Drawing on your experience of managing estates function, you will be responsible for providing technical advice / support to all staff within the Estates and Facilities Directorate including providing problem-solving solutions and decision-making in relation to complex engineering problems.

Candidates must have demonstrable knowledge of estates management with a track record of delivering successful estates change and drive. It would be advantageous to have carried out healthcare projects following NHS guidelines and relevant legislation.
