As well as this we are an accredited cancer centre and provide cancer services to a wider population of Northamptonshire and parts of Buckinghamshire.

Band 3 Radiology Department Assistant supporting ultrasound service within Radiology.

Monday 08:00-16:00

Wednesday 08:30-14:30

Friday 08:30-18:00

Are you a well organised self-motivated and efficient individual? Do you have the ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels within a large organisation?

This post involves assisting directly with patient care within the Imaging service; ensuring patients are kept safe and are dealt with in a polite and compassionate way. This is a supportive role delivering a high quality service to patients attending for examinations and treatments. The role also involves ensuring the environment within radiology is clean and tidy so examination rooms are ready for use, stocked with linen and consumables.

You will need to possess first class communication skills along with an excellent telephone manner and IT skills. Confidentiality and discretion must be maintained at all times. You will be required to demonstrate that you are flexible and be prepared to undertake training as required.
