A vacancy has arisen for a Patient Transport Service (PTS) Hospital Liaison Officer to act as a point of contact between PTS and the hospital, first and foremost an ‘on site’ presence to respond and resolve issues / matters concerning PTS provision, patient mobility, utilisation of vehicles and delays on the ward and outpatient clinics.

In order to be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate experience within Patient Transport Services or the wider Ambulance Service sector, patient/transport sector.

The role will be based at Milton Keynes Hospital..

The successful candidate will:

  • Need to be familiar with and adhere to service plans policies, procedures and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Work closely with the Operational & contact Centre management teams to ensure that service delivery maintains the standards required as per our contractual arrangements.

The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the Trust, and in particular PTS, assisting in the development of close working relationships with our users.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent Customer Care skills
