Named Nurse / Named Professional for Safeguarding Children Band 7

The Safeguarding Team are seeking two highly motivated and dynamic individuals who are experienced in safeguarding issues to join our team. We would like to hear from you if you hold a recognised relevant professional qualification in Health or Social Care, are educated to degree level or have equivalent experience.

We would like someone with appropriate demonstrable experience at Band 6 or professional equivalent. You should also have extensive demonstrable experience in an area related to safeguarding children/child protection and experience of developing and delivering training programmes.

The post offers the opportunity to work in an environment that offers diversity and challenge. The post holder will offer clinical leadership and practice development through training, coaching, supervisor forums, supervision, support and advice on complex cases, strategic advice and leadership along with challenge and scrutiny of safeguarding practice including interface with statutory agencies.

The successful applicant will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing support to services predominantly within Doncaster but also across the Trust. The team has a range of disciplines and experience within it and provides support in terms of children and adult safeguarding. We are committed to a think family approach by working together.

The post holder should have Access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area.

The successful applicant will be based at Chestnut View in Doncaster as part of the Trust Safeguarding Team.
