An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Respiratory Physiotherapist to join the dynamic and innovative Community Respiratory team in Newhaven. Applicants should have a specialist interest in working with respiratory patients and have significant experience in this area.
The aim of this post is to support patients in the community with a diagnosed respiratory condition such as COPD, ILD and Bronchiectasis, and help them manage their condition on a day to day basis. As well as providing home visits to patients, the successful applicant will be responsible for supervising junior colleagues, leading on the pulmonary rehabilitation service and physiotherapy service arms, and continuing to support the development of the service.
Applicants must be HCPC-registered and able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of working with respiratory patients, and possess a broad range of experience working within the NHS. Good time management, leadership and organisational skills are also essential requirements of this post.
It is essential that applicants hold a full UK driving licence and have a car available for work, as the successful applicant will be required to undertake home visits.
