Position: Estates Manager

Location: Oaks Park Primary Care Centre, with travel to all Federation sites within the Borough

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

We are an ambitious and inclusive organisation focused on enhancing the way in which primary care at scale is delivered within Barnsley. Ensuring our estates and facilities are suitable and safe is a key part of how we meet this aim.

We are looking for an experienced Estates Manager to join our team, in an autonomous and flexible role.

This position will manage and support the provision and maintenance of Barnsley Healthcare Federation buildings, equipment and services to ensure a safe and suitable environment for the care of patients, visitors and staff. The Estates Manager provides technical and specialist advice to managers and staff in the area of health and safety and maintenance and manages all systems contracts across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, with a robust knowledge of Building Regulation, Health and Safety, and Building/Fire/COSH regulations etc.  A full clean driving license is also required for the role.
