What we want from you

 

You will be part of forward thinking teams and need to demonstrate a commitment to ensuring our service users receive excellent individualised care while promoting independence.

The main role of the Health Care Assistant is to assist in the delivery of care as per the care plan.

We are looking for nursing assistant to work on our Lodges and contribute to the care of our service users with kindness, compassion and empathy. We need a nursing assistant with good communication skills, a passion for working on our Lodges and a clear understanding of the role of nursing assistant within the team to support the care of our service user.

A willingness to engage in developing both yourself and the service is essential.

We actively encourage development and aim to provide a flexible workforce to meet service needs. This will include internal rotation to cover a 24hr 7-day service and the ability to work in other localities/departments. You will be supported to complete the Care Certificate

You must be a good team player and have a compassionate and sensitive approach. Previous care experience in a hospital or care home, though advantageous, is not essential. A basic level of IT competence is required.

References and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be requested for successful applicants.

All positions are subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and medical clearance. Evidence of valid professional registration and appropriate DBS clearances will also be required where relevant. All posts will also be subject to successful completion of a 12 week probationary period.

 

Please note that all new employees joining NAViGO will be able to contribute to the NHS pension.
