Senior Healthcare Assistant, Sycamore Ward
ASD & Learning Disabilities Division
Northampton
From £18,325 plus enhancements
Hours: 37.5 – Full time
We are looking to recruit motivated, resourceful and resilient individuals to join our team on Sycamore Ward.
The ward is a 4 bedded female ward offering enhanced support and person-centred care to women with ASD/ID and complex behaviours that can be challenging to others.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant you will be responsible for the day to day care of the women and will be key in helping them to improve their quality of life and, ultimately, move on to a less secure setting. Working as part of a Multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high standards of individualised care, activities and therapeutic interventions to our patients.
You will be provided with the necessary training tailored to the ward’s treatment model. You will also support qualified staff in planning activities and support mentoring junior members of the nursing team. Our experienced Multi-Disciplinary Team will work with you and support your own personal development to meet the needs of this challenging patient group.
Our aim is to provide a caring ward in a secure hospital environment, with caring staff who can work together with patients to improve their quality of life. We know that if we take care of you, you will be able to take care of our patients.
If you feel you have the skills to support our patient group and be part of their recovery – join us. We look forward to hearing from you!
