We provide out of hours (OOH) primary care and Extended Access appointments to the population of Cumbria (500,000 people over a land mass of 2,613 square miles), working out of 12 clinical sites. Our core bases are:

  • Kendal
  • Barrow
  • Whitehaven
  • Carlisle
  • Penrith
  • Wigton

SESSIONAL DAYTIME GPs REQUIRED

Due a recent increase in daytime services we are looking for self-employed sessional GPs to work with us.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our General Practitioners form an integral part of the CHoC team, accountable to the Chief Executive and Medical Director. Working within the CHoC service, you will be responsible for providing high quality primary care services to the population of Cumbria. You will be mainly working across a range of daytime services providing telephone consultations to support General Practice and pre-face to face assessments of patients prior to them attending A&E. These services will initially be running until March 2021.

HOURS

This post is sessional but available shifts run between the hours of 08:00-18:30, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)

LOCATIONS

We are predominately looking for clinicians to work from Kendal and Carlisle however we can be flexible in offering shifts across our other bases in Cumbria.

RATE OF PAY

£57.83 an hour.
