PMO Analyst

BCHFT Strategy Directorate

Transformation Programme Management Office (PMO)

Band 5

37.5 hours per week

1 x Permanent and 1 x Fixed Term for 18 months

Based at Delta House, West Bromwich

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Transformation Programme Management Office at BCHFT as PMO Analyst. Our Transformation Programme Management Office oversees and delivers large-scale change with a portfolio of work that has twin aims of improving quality and consistency of care for our patients, and improving the efficiency of Trust services to safeguard our future sustainability. The Transformation PMO also supports the Trust’s assurance processes by;

  • Overseeing the strategic alignments and prioritisation of key projects and business as usual work packages.
  • Embedding standard systems and processes to enable consistent delivery of outcomes and meaningful reporting – bringing discipline to change.
  • Providing expert support to the delivery of change, whilst also quality assuring the approach and outcomes of change processes.
  • Collating an evidence base of progress against, and delivery of strategic outcomes.

Utilising strong organisational and information management skills the PMO Analyst will take a lead in facilitating central reporting requirements – both monthly and ad-hoc for the Transformation PMO. They will be responsible for the central coordination of project management information and actively support the senior managers to ensure that Trust-wide Performance and Programme reporting requirements are met. They will also collate and analyse benchmarking and key performance indicator data to feed into specified projects and the overall portfolio of work, and proactively identify gaps, interdependencies, discrepancies and inconsistencies in information channelled through the PMO.

The successful candidates will have some understanding of project management, expert knowledge of Excel, be very comfortable working with electronic systems and be highly methodical and organised in their approach to work, demonstrating attention to detail.
